There’s a certain magic to mid-Wales. The weather’s often terrible, the roads unpredictable, but you wouldn’t have it any other way. I love riding through the hills on my motorbike, walking until I’m soaked and muddy, then curling up in a remote cabin (or pickling in a hot tub). Even when the clouds roll in and the rain hits sideways, there’s a real cosiness to it.

Brecon captures a bit of that feeling — damp earth, wood smoke, and clear air after rain — something to light at home, even when you’re miles from the mountains.
